I started woodworking with my father back in 1980. He helped me become precise and reminded me to measure twice and cut once. As an adult, I spent weekends in my one-car garage turned workshop building and creating pieces for my family and friends to enjoy. Now that I am retired, I am excited to expand into a fully developed workshop and finally work on my hobby full time!

This is a picture of my shop before the move, a one car garage with no air conditioning in Phoenix, AZ. There was barely enough room to turn around, let alone complete a project. What this picture doesn't show is the extra tools that had to be stored in my sister's garage.

When my wife and I retired, we were lucky enough to move to the Prescott area and I was able to secure an RV garage that I have been able to (with the help of a welding buddy) turn into a two-story workshop with a separate, dust-free finishing room. And although it's much cooler anyways, I now have air conditioning for the summer months!

My shop is outfitted with... I also have been dabbling in 3-D printing and have used it to build my dust collection system.
